LIKE SPORTS Athletics Track Passed China Athletics Association Class II Field Acceptance

We are pleased to announce that another athletics track project by LIKE SPORTS has passed a professional-level inspection—the China Athletics Association Class II Field Acceptance.

Class II Field Acceptance Standards by the China Athletics Association include the following:

Surface Layer Thickness Measurement

• Tool: Three-needle thickness gauge

• Method: Measure the thickness from the bottom of the synthetic track to the top of the anti-slip granules (or textured surface) using the three-needle thickness gauge.

• Standard: For Class II track acceptance, the total surface layer thickness must not be less than 13mm.

Surface Flatness Measurement

• Tool: Leveling ruler

• Method: Place the leveling ruler flat on the track and use a feeler gauge to measure the maximum gap.

• Standard: Under a 2-meter straightedge, the gap should not exceed 3mm, and any step-like unevenness should not exceed 1mm.

Track Markings and Overall Functionality

• Markings: Track lines must be straight, uniform, and free from blurring.

• Specifications: Track width, lane width, inner curb height, lane numbers, field event layouts, embedded facilities, and point-line positions must comply with the Athletics Competition and Technical Rules.

• Functionality: The overall layout and functionality of the athletics field must meet the requirements for hosting the designated track and field events, and sports facilities should conform to the rules outlined in the Athletics Competition and Technical Rules.

Track Appearance Inspection

• Color Consistency: The track surface, including the running lanes, approach lanes, and semicircular areas, must have a uniform color consistent with the design.

• Surface Quality: The track must be free of bubbles, cracks, or delamination. Joints should be tight, flat, and smooth without visible marks, and the site must be free of any unpleasant odors.
